x11-misc/efax-gtk has it's own copy of efax so you shouldn't need net-misc/efax, but with that said, I've fixed the file collision by renaming those manpages: 28 Jan 2012; Samuli Suominen <ssuominen@gentoo.org> efax-gtk-3.2.9.ebuild: Rename efax.1 to efax-0.9a.1 and efix.1 to efix-0.9a.1 in order to prevent file collision with net-misc/efax wrt #401221 by Fabio Rossi Wouldn't be better to block efax and efax-gtk from being installed at the same time? (In reply to comment #2) > Wouldn't be better to block efax and efax-gtk from being installed at the same > time? You tell me? I've just retained the old behavior, and allowed them to be installed parallel. I suppose there must have been reason to do that in the first place? (In reply to comment #3) > You tell me? Uhm, I don't the reasons but I was not aware efax-gtk ships with an embedded version of efax until this bug came out. |
