The shared libraries installed by ots are strangely named:

/usr/lib/libots-1.0.5.0
/usr/lib/libots-1.0
/usr/lib/libots-1

I would expect something like:

/usr/lib/libots-1.so.0.5.0
/usr/lib/libots-1.so.0
/usr/lib/libots-1.so

with appropriate fixes in /usr/lib/libots-1.la (dlname and library_names).

This is the only non-.so shared library on my system.

I guess gnome-office@ people should be interested in fixing this (and the underlinking bug that ots has as well?).
