Bug 399819 – sci-visualization/qtiplot-0.9.8.9-r1 segfaults when opening .OPJ files

The new qtiplot-0.9.8.9-r1 is, apparently, able to open MicroCal Origin OPJ files through a new patch: qtiplot-0.9.8.9-origin-2.patch

However, whenever I try to open an OPJ file, qtiplot-0.9.8.9-r1 segfaults:

Could you please attach a simple example origin file that leads to the problem?

Also, it would be great to get a backtrace (but that may be a lot of work if you have never done it before), see
