simply needs .VIRTUALX_REQUIRED=test Then it simply needs a dbus session for about 95% of its test 1: Test timeout computed to be: 9.99988e+06 1: ********* Start testing of KSpread::TestDependencies ********* 1: Config: Using QTest library 4.7.4, Qt 4.7.4 1: klauncher(2550) kdemain: No DBUS session-bus found. Check if you have started the DBUS server. 1: kdeinit4: Communication error with launcher. Exiting! Now that VIRTUALX_REQUIRED=test is in place. it now hangs. Delete test 1 Dependencies from the tests, and now test 1 is Formula 1 - kspread-Formula (Failed) and it hangs. This is a total mess. If you check the output of ctest --verbose and check which tests require dbus, there are 6 prior to BitopsFunctions and also ValueFormatter and RowRepeatStorage. That's about 1/3 of the tests. I could delete the remaining 2/3 of the tests, which basically reduces the test suite to an utter sham. I can only urge acting on the idea of poking upstream to either tell us how to invokde a dbus session that QTtest or kde can plug into, or stop writing such test suites in this fashion that renders them useless. Will be resolved by removing KOffice (after Calligra stabilization). KSpread is gone from the tree. |
