an updated version of the 2.4.7 ebuild that installs the latest PDL release. It works so far for my code

TODO: 

*) Proper handling of versions. I didn't figure how to properly treat 2.4.9_993 as version number, I created a new variable with this string for path resolution and named it 2.4.10_rc3.

*) A warning to recompile modules to prevent errors like the following:
PDL::Fit::Levmar::Func needs to be recompiled against the newly installed PDL at /usr/lib64/perl5/5.12.4/x86_64-linux-thread-multi/DynaLoader.pm line 223.
