Personally I think either top and vertical bars are really bloated of information that, sometimes, make a bit hard to find most looked info quickly.

Let's start with top bar, it currently offers you the following options (by order):
About | Projects | Docs | Forums | Lists | Bugs | Get Gentoo! | Support | Planet | Wiki

- Projects -> Personally, I don't think a lot of people looks for this page and gets useful information (at least people new to gento), I even don't remember last time I looked to this page. I would simply drop that link from top bar (probably keeping it in more bloated vertical bar)
- Docs -> Maybe would be interesting to rename it to "Documentation", looks more "professional" to me and it's also coherent with the way it's called in vertical bar
- Forums -> I would drop this in favor of "Support" and, once people click on "Support", offer people different options to get it (Forums, Lists...)
- Lists -> the same as "Forums" ;)
- Bugs -> I would rename it to "Report a bug" (as we want to guide people to report a bug, not to show them our tons of opened bugs ;)). I would also move it to the last as, for reporting a bug, people need, at first, to install Gentoo and, then, I would move "Get Gentoo!" to the second place, just after "About". Personally, I think we should even drop it from there and point people to "Support" and, from there -> "Report a bug"
- Get Gentoo! -> Already said in "Bugs" :)
- Support -> Already talked about it in some places.
- Planet -> I am happy with it
- Wiki -> I would drop that from the bar and point to it from "Documentation"
- I would add a packages.gentoo.org link as I think a lot of people tends to want to know what new updates and packages land on Gentoo every day ;)

Thanks a lot :)

Reproducible: Always

I think we actually need two sites. One targetted at 'users' and one targeted at 'contributors'.

The 'project/meta' stuff should go in the contributor section.

The reality of the situation is that it doesn't matter as much what we want; because no one is working on the site.

Sadly I cannot help much with website as my knowledge is really limited (I only know a bit of basic html). This is the reason of me simply suggesting to change a bit current offered links in top bar (that shouldn't be too hard to do), even if a great webpages rework is needed :/

The current website setup is not maintained in any way.
