X server log
Please also report this upstream at https://bugs.freedesktop.org/ (if no report already exists) and provide the link here. For reporting upstream it would be best to give a stack trace using xorg-server-1.11. You might be asked to upgrade to kernel 3.2. Besides, you could check if enabling sna for xf86-video-intel and/or running mplayer -vo gl makes any difference. Upstream bug at https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=44642 SNA is enabled (and was before), will try if disabling it makes a difference. mplayer -vo gl crashes the X server as well, reports something about the GPU being stuck in an infinite loop. In this case I have to reboot the machine, screen just goes blank and nothing I does brings it back. Are you still having troubles with the latest ~arch ebuild (2.20.14 as of today). If so, please update the upstream bug report. Thanks |
