when i try to emerge --userpkg gentoo-sources i get this error, it also did this when i tried Vanilla-sources

Error: sys-apps/module-init-tools-0.9.15_Pre4 failed.
Function src_compile, line 69. Exitcode 2
Emake modutils failed.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.get upto the point in installing Gentoo where you emerge your kernel
2.type emerge --usepkg gentoo- kernel
3.

Actual Results:  
i got: 
Error: sys-apps.module-init-tools-0.9.15_pre4 failed

emake modutils failed

Expected Results:  
it should have emerged with no error message

you neglected to provide `emerge info`

also, we'll need the output above that die message (the compiling errors)

also, pre9 is in portage now
