Btw., hdf-java-2.7 is required by scilab-5.3.3: root@condor:/usr/local/portage/sci-libs(54)# emerge -pvDNt scilab These are the packages that would be merged, in reverse order: Calculating dependencies... done! [ebuild N ] sci-mathematics/scilab-5.3.3 USE="doc fftw gui matio nls tk umfpack xcos -hdf5" 46,146 kB [1] [ebuild N ] dev-java/hdf-java-2.7 USE="doc examples szip zlib -hdf -test" 12,900 kB [1] Three weeks later I still have the same error. It seems, that hdf-java-2.8 is the current version (see http://www.hdfgroup.org/hdf-java-html/index.html). Ebuild has been updated in the overly. The most recent version in the science overlay is hfd-java-2.9. I fixed the SRC_URI a few seconds ago. I close this therefore. |
