Looks like there is no config/jdk-defaults-arm.conf and neither in dev-java/java-config-2.1.10 which is marked stable on ARM. What could be done to get the ARM support to java-config? Sorry - but I have no experience in altering ebuilds... Thanks a lot! *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 305773 *** Hello, what is now going on with java-config and ARM support? java-config now works with arm as mentioned in the other bug, as for the jdk icedtea can be used. If you run into issues besides missing KEYWORDS please file bugs. Thanks. It's nice to hear that java-config now should work but I cannot find any new package which includes the support-file config/jdk-defaults-arm.conf for ARM architecture. When will there be an update in the portage tree with this support? Or where could I find a solution? The latest available ebuild in the tree generates this file on the fly. Only future tarballs will already contain this file. Ie was fixed in trunk and backported to 2.1.11-r3. Please (re-)install dev-java/java-config-2.1.11-r3. |
