I cannot tell what goes wrong here, can you please paste a LOT more of the error? all the info of the error (that i know where to look) is the whole output from "emerge libao" which is the URL of this bug report, http://dont-have.no-ip.com/libao.out doh, i'm blind. Sorry for missing that :) Can you tell me what versions of autoconf and automake you have installed? (emerge -vp autoconf automake, paste the output) This seems to be a auto* error, which is weird, but not completely farfetched. no problem :) [ebuild U ] sys-devel/autoconf-2.58 [2.57-r1] [ebuild U ] sys-devel/automake-1.7.8 [1.7.5-r2] okay, sorry for making you do a lot of the testing here, can you please upgrade to the latest autoconf, and then try "emerge libao" again? Hopefully that will solve the issues involved here. Thanks very much, its working now! :) Thanks very much, its working now! :) good, fixed a dep in the cvs tree to. thanks for catching it |
