http://overlays.gentoo.org/proj/alt/browser/trunk/prefix-overlay/sys-devel/gettext there is no such ebuild :/ The http://overlays.gentoo.org/proj/alt/browser/trunk/prefix-overlay/sys-devel/gettext/gettext-0.18.1.1-r2.ebuild ebuild there, already uses EPREFIX for --docdir ok, I shouldn't focus on bug titles :) Prefix launcher probably uses an outdated snapshot. This is a bit of a known problem, that gives haubi some joy :) The critical problem is that you are NOT using the Gentoo Prefix tree. So, naturally, you will have (many) problems. (In reply to comment #0) > Repositories: gentoo > SYNC="rsync://xxxx.internalhost/portage" Ah, thanks - I've applied http://prefix.gentooexperimental.org/distfiles/prefix-overlay-20111205.tar.bz2 over the snapshot I have, and made a note not to be a tool in future :-) Can't you just unset SYNC and emerge --sync to get an up-to-date Prefix tree again? Unfortunately not, this machine's isolated from the world at large. I've removed and re-emerged gettext though using the Prefix ebuild and all is well; onwards to glib! Thanks for your help. |
