I forgot to mention, it didn't happen witht 4.6, only since the upgrade to 4.7 Hmm, that crash is somewhere inside the alsa sound library... which version do you have there, and which sound hardware do you use? I have alsa-lib-1.0.24.1. The crash occurs on both my desktop and my laptop, though obviously not with battery on the former. The soundcard on my desktop is an onboard HD audio chip (snd-hda-intel kernel module) with a Realtek ALC662 codec. On the laptop, as far as I remember, it's also an HD audio chip, though I'll have to check to be sure. How about KDE 4.8 and/or alsa-lib-1.0.25-r1?
