Try 1.3.0 instead. The 1.1 versions are going away soon. Hi. Thanks for the reply. This package is pulled in on stable amd by media-gfx/monica-3.7 . I'll try the 1.3 version whenever portage upgrades me. As similar problems exist with media-radio/fldigi I had a quick look into it. In both cases (fluid and fldigi) the segfault arise in fltk's 'load_system_icons'. It is not clear to me yet why the problem exist only on some systems (observed on some stable x86 and amd64 systems) but works on other similar configured machines. (In reply to comment #3) > It is not clear to me yet why the problem exist only on some systems (observed > on some stable x86 and amd64 systems) but works on other similar configured > machines. Further tests brings out the following: The segfaults happens only if libreoffice-3.4.3.2-r1 or libreoffice-bin-3.4.3.2-r1 is installed. It does not happen in the 3.4.3 versions. Sounds weird, but got confirmed at least in bug #394859. In special it seems to be related to the following PNG files in /usr/share/icons/hicolor/: 32x32/mimetypes/libreoffice-oasis-presentation-template.png 32x32/mimetypes/libreoffice-oasis-spreadsheet-template.png 32x32/mimetypes/libreoffice-oasis-text-template.png and 16x16/mimetypes/libreoffice-oasis-spreadsheet-template.png 16x16/mimetypes/libreoffice-oasis-text-template.png 16x16/mimetypes/libreoffice-oasis-web-template.png If any of this files is existent the segfault happens. (In reply to comment #1) > Try 1.3.0 instead. The 1.1 versions are going away soon. I never got reply to this, so closing. Reopen if fluid from 1.3.0 is still broken. |
