I have this problem too... it appears to be trying to create runtime info in /run/postgresql, it used to be in /var/run/postgresql. The former does not exist and so it fails. You can manually create it, but it's on tmpfs, it'll disappear on reboot. I'm not sure what's changed here and haven't yet had chance to dig into it. I was going to drop a mkdir into the init.d script as a short term work around. You need to update the initscript. I think the ebuild is still pointing to the old init scripts. Couldn't reopen this one so created bug 394171. |
