What is your ffmpeg or libav version? What USE does it have enabled? Does it build fine with media-video/libav-0.8_pre20111116? (In reply to comment #1) > What is your ffmpeg or libav version? What USE does it have enabled? Seems to. Did some testing: it builds fine with libav-0.8_pre20111116 it fails with ffmpeg-0.7.8, ffmpeg-0.8.7 and libav-0.7.2 Will change dep to >=media-video/libav-0.8_pre20111116 Fixed by setting >=media-video/libav-0.8_pre20111116 DEPEND. I don't really think depending on libav is the best of solutions here, as it creates other problems (like audacious-plugins not playing nice with libav). I suggest waiting for upstream to fix this issue => https://code.google.com/p/ffmpegsource/issues/detail?id=64 ffmpegsource-2.16 compiles nicely against ffmpeg-0.8.7 and I can't seem to see any useful changes in the svn log that grant a version bump for ffmpegsource to screw over other packages. Let keep this open until fixed upstream. Maxim, please change '|| ( >=media-video/ffmpeg-0.9 >=media-video/libav-0.8_pre20111116 )' in ffmpegsource-2.16.2.1_pre587.ebuild and 'virtual/ffmpeg' in 9999 ebuild to '>=virtual/ffmpeg-0.9' media-libs/ffmpegsource-2.16.2.1_pre587 just emerged flawlessly with ffmpeg-0.9 as there's been an update on the deps on 17 Dec of last year. I guess this bug may be closed then, right? 2.17 has >=virtual/ffmpeg-0.9 depend. |
