1) Please post your `emerge --info' output too. 2) Please attach any (partial/redacted) logs that may shed light on the cause of the hangs. I triggered the same bug by starting the linux version of ThinkorSwim after a wakeup from overnight. It started full screen on one monitor. When I double clicked the title bar, gnome-shell locked up. I was able to recover by sending an HUP to the gnome-shell pid. I also noticed that I am using a lot of memory. The machine has 24G of ram is is slightly dipping into swap. |
