sci-geosciences/qlandkartegt-1.3.1.ebuild (Update)

As no dependencies have changed since the last version, attached is basically the same ebuild as the previous 1.2.2. Compiled fine on my x86.
Comment 1 Martin Swift 2012-02-27 11:17:44 UTC
The developers have been slowly adding features into versions 1.3.2 and now recently 1.4.0. Both emerged cleanly with the same ebuild. It is a well written, maintained and highly useful piece of software. Gentoo and its users would be well served by keeping the ebuild up to date.

Now it's 1.4.0 - and still now word from any dev :-( (In fact the only version in ports - 1.2.2 - doesn't compile at all)

Are you able to compile the 1.4.0 version, either by emerging it from an overlay or building from source?

Yes - finally gave up waiting for Gentoo to confirm this bug and created a new ebuild (based on yours), I'll attach it. (Just add in to your local or personal overlay and do the usual steps)

Works like a charm, compiles without error and qlandkartegt 1.4.0 works flawlessly.

qlandkarte-1.4.0 ebuild
Comment 6 Peter Albrecht 2012-03-22 19:34:43 UTC
I can only confirm Mark Nowiasz: QLandkarteGT is a great application. It is very powerful and quite intuitive! A few clicks after installation and I can design routes on openstreetmap data for my next gps tour. This is great!

Just emerged qlandkartegt-1.4.0.ebuild together with gdal-1.8.1-r1, which went perfectly smooth! My maschine: (emerge --info)
Portage 2.1.10.44 (default/linux/x86/10.0/desktop/kde, gcc-4.4.5, glibc-2.13-r4, 2.6.38-gentoo-r6 i686)

I totally agree with Mark: qlandkartegt-1.4.0.ebuild should be added to the official portage!

I have voted for this bug. Can I do anything more?
Comment 7 Peter Albrecht 2012-03-22 19:36:39 UTC
I forgot: Thank you Mark for providing the 1.4.0.ebuild!
So installation was a "piece of cake" for me. :)
