Programs such as ifconfig, iwconfig, and john are all installed in /sbin or /usr/sbin, however such programs have frequent usage modes which do not require elevated privileges. As such, I would like to suggest that they be moved to /bin or /usr/bin.

upstream git now installs into /bin and the next version in Gentoo will too
