very regional interest, if at all...
Comment 4 Radek Podgorny 2005-05-30 08:48:01 UTC
Regional? Why is that? I thought that if you created a theme with ANY place on
it, it is still SOME place. Why call it regional? Else every theme could be
called regional. Even the poor african kids could enjoy this one... :-)
Comment 5 Carsten Lohrke (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-05-30 11:31:14 UTC
Well, the assumtion is that even the most Berlin people don't like their ugly
subway that much, that they want a theme of it. Sense of aethetics differs, but
look at the kde-look.org rating... Or to say it more bluntly: Everyone wants his
favourite unimportant stuff in the official Gentoo repository, but no one wants
to maintain it - especially themes are unimportant and uninteresting crap.
Comment 6 Radek Podgorny 2005-05-30 16:24:18 UTC
Yeah! No argument here. I just wanted to say "regional" is not a good reason to
refuse something. :-)

I perfecty understand themes are tricky to accept and maintain. The author
should try to make it included in some bigger theme pack IMO...
