Release was made a few days ago.

Most outstanding feature is gtk3 support, but it can still be built with gtk2.
It's either/or, no slotting possible.

Given that bug 362035 is still unfixed, I'm CCing gnome herd too, as it's the one with most experience with gtk3 problems.

On semi-related note: as (most likely, due to gucharmap plugin) eautoreconf will stay in use, could you please remove the dolt hack from configure.ac ?
