monodoc is provided by the mono-tools package as per http://www.mono-project.com/Monodoc but virtual/monodoc-2.10 does not depend on this package. Emerging mono-tools provides monodoc.

1. emerge virtual/monodoc
2. $ monodoc

No, mono-tools provides monodoc graphical browser, not monodoc. And, if you look to monodoc ebuild, you will see it PDEPENDs on mono-tools with USE "X"
