The ebuild!
The policy on perl modules is that they are only added to portage if they are a dependency of another application in portage. As this doesn't seem to be the case, g-cpan.pl should be used. Thanks for the submission anyway. Ah, okay... Is g-cpan.pl documented anywhere? I couldn't find any docs on gentoo.org... Unfortunately, not yet. It's currently one of those tools that never seemed to be properly documented. Hopefully this will be corrected sooner rather than later. |
