in file portage/profiles/use.desc gnustep - Add support for GNUstep An explanation as to the need of this flag would be helpful. ... is this still needed, regardless? To bridge support from GNUstep to the rest of the system, a global "gnustep" flag could be used. However, this isn't often the case (usually the system packages support GNUstep installed programs themselves). If nfont support is likely the only modificiation we'd be making to font packages, I'd rather add an "nfont" use flag to these packages, which would install the appropriate nfont files, and depend on the mknfont tool. Open to ideas, of course. gnustep use flag added first package to use it: windowmaker .. other's planned for near future. |
