(In reply to comment #0) > ./savage2.bin: symbol lookup error: /opt/savage2/libk2.so: undefined symbol: > _ZN4FMOD6System13getDriverCapsEiPjPiS2_P16FMOD_SPEAKERMODE Propably not compatible with current media-libs/fmod. It was bumped for security bug. Then, if savage2-bin doesn't have upstream update, it should propably be lastrited Wait, Savage2 is getting updated again (1st bump was yesterday - the day Savage2-bin got lastrited) Its more hotfixes and all BUT they should be able to bump fmod to a version which isn't a security concern (In reply to comment #2) > Wait, Savage2 is getting updated again (1st bump was yesterday - the day > Savage2-bin got lastrited) I'm not sure what you mean since the homepage, http://savage2.s2games.com/ still has only 2.1.0.1 with the problem. > Its more hotfixes and all BUT they should be able to bump fmod to a version > which isn't a security concern ? According to changelog, 2.1.0.4 supports latest fmod. (In reply to comment #4) > According to changelog, 2.1.0.4 supports latest fmod. Sure, but the download link in the upstream page is still for 2.1.0.1 in the Linux section. Or can anyone point me to 2.1.0.4 packages for 32bit and 64bit for linux? The actual download uri? The > actual download uri? There're no download url for 2.1.0.4. I think that best way to fix this bug - don't remove fmod, bundled with savage2. Removed from tree. If someone wants savage2-bin then an "New ebuild request" bug must be filed with ebuild attached that solves: bug 300284, bug 308883 and this one. |
