compile log for sys-devel/gettext-0.18.1.1-r3
where did "/usr/include/random.h" come from ? you shouldn't have that. this comes from a package in my local overlay... $ equery belongs /usr/include/random.h * Searching for /usr/include/random.h ... sci-mathematics/mcsim-5.4.0 (/usr/include/random.h) indeed, when i unmerge mcsim gettext compiles fine. is there some rule that /usr/include/random.h must not exist? no, but there is an unspoken rule of sorts that if you install /usr/include/random.h, it should be the canonical one and not some random sci package. bouncing over to the sci people to not pollute /usr/include/. WONTFIX since package has been removed |
