Probably a patch like this has to be applied to that version too ? : n22 /usr/local/portage/net-libs/gnutls # cat files/dsa.patch --- gnutls-3.0.3/src/serv.c 2011-09-14 03:31:58.000000000 +0700 +++ gnutls-3.0.3.new/src/serv.c 2011-09-20 03:59:30.601338284 +0700 @@ -702,6 +696,9 @@ for (ptr = res; ptr != NULL; ptr = ptr->ai_next) { +#ifndef HAVE_IPV6 + if (ptr->ai_family!=AF_INET) continue; +#endif /* Print what we are doing. */ { char topbuf[512]; Please send your patch to upstream. I can't really test since I never experienced the failure with 3.0.7 or 3.0.8. However, I was just guessing it was fixed since the patch you pasted in comment #2 was applied to 3.0.8. From upstream ( Nikos Mavrogiannopoulos <nmav@gnutls.org> and CC: bug-gnutls@gnu.org) : Hi, The patch that was previously sent to solve that issue was applied. Is the failure because of another reason (and if yes which?) regards, Nikos Issue is still in 3.0.9 and can be solved by this (got from upstream): Hello, Could it be related to: http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/gnutls-devel/2011-12/msg00011.html That is would the patch at [0] solve the issue you see? regards, Nikos [0]. http://git.savannah.gnu.org/gitweb/?p=gnutls.git;a=commitdiff;h=3f5986af3abc524198e18687e865131a6cde57e9 3.0.14 is out |
