![]() Try removing "consolekit-0.4.1-shutdown-reboot-without-policies.patch" from sys-auth/consolekit. Rebuild it, restart it, try again. IMHO, we should ditch this patch. In any case, the $summary is very misleading as the bug is NOT in polkit-gnome in any case. It's a bug in whatever called polkit-gnome and asked for privileges for shutting down, even though it already had them.
