As a pointer from IRC: willikins: chithead: bug#1021 "bfd links incorrectly on solaris"; binutils, ld; REOP; mk:unassigned chithead: workaround is either using sun ld or replacing -lpthread with -pthread -pthread ftw The underlying bug is in binutils under Solaris, the following reference shows the description and fixes (to be released at this time): http://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1021#c15 I don't easily see any positive remarks on fixes. But what version of GNU ld should they be available in? sqlite can be installed on Solaris these days |
