Sorry but you use an unstable version of poppler and expect it to work with a stable version of epdfview. I can not test every combination possible in the tree. If you use an unstable version of poppler you should as well use an unstable version of epdfview and you are fine. If poppler-0.18.0 will become stable then we should look at filing a stable request for epfview-0.1.8 too. Also please provide build log in english next time. Created attachment 290689 [details]

Sorry for french build.log, painful to read for non-french.
recently xpdf was marked instable, to continue to use it, one have to unmask it and also poppler-0.18.0
No other (stable) application than epdfview failed to rebuild using the (instable) version of xpdf. (On my system)
