backtrace
I have seen you got the backtrace using bug-buddy, did you try to let it report to upstream? They bugzilla allows to find duplicated backtraces really easy and maybe this was already reported and fixed in newer empathy versions. Please try it an post the link here Probably worth mentioning, that I had to apply the patch from bug #388203 * Applying empathy-2.34.0-auth-dialog-crash-fix.patch ... [ ok ] * Applying empathy-2.34.0-telepathy_glib_channel_dispatch_operation_include.patch ... [ ok ] * Fixing OMF Makefiles ... [ ok ] * Running elibtoolize in: empathy-2.34.0/ * Applying portage/2.2 patch ... * Applying sed/1.5.6 patch ... * Applying as-needed/2.2.6 patch ... * Running elibtoolize in: empathy-2.34.0/telepathy-yell/ * Applying portage/2.2 patch ... * Applying sed/1.5.6 patch ... * Applying as-needed/2.2.6 patch ... Not sure how empathy-3.2 behaves on a Gnome2 setup :-/ (as there are few chances this will ever be fixed for empathy-2) Yeah, I have moved on to Gnome3 and haven't seen this behavior now. Closing. |
