net-analyzer/pnp4nagios-0.6.7 is compatible with net-analyzer/icinga but insists on net-analyzer/nagios-core to be installed before emerging. Since icinga and nagio can not be installed at the same time this is a problem. net-analyzer/nagios-plugins will emerge with either icinga or nagios-core installed. pnp4nagios should work the same way. To reproduce, emerge icinga, then try to emerge pnp4nagios: spidey objects # emerge -a net-analyzer/pnp4nagios These are the packages that would be merged, in order: Calculating dependencies... done!
