Please show your 'emerge -pv zlib' Reproduced with sys-libs/zlib-1.2.5.1-r2 and vacuum-9999 r1645: if USE minizip is disabled vacuum builds fine, else it fails. Most likely this will be fixed upstream soon. Created attachment 294791 [details, diff]

this is the exact opposite of what we want to do. packages should be using the system minizip code, not the local bundles.
