The xbmc ebuild has the following comment:

The cpluff bundled addon uses gettext which needs CVS ...

Does gettext still need cvs? I thought gettext depreciated cvs support in favour of git. If this is the case, can we drop the cvs dependency or at least depend on either cvs or git?
