(In reply to comment #0) > I start to wonder if it's just me.... > > gnome-extra/libgsf-1.14.20 fails to compile with USE=gtk Are you unmasking pkgs like glib, pango, gtk+ in /etc/portage/package.keywords that might cause this? Then, have you tried unmasking also libgsf-1.14.21? This might already be fixed. thanks to have a look at this. > Are you unmasking pkgs like glib, pango, gtk+ in /etc/portage/package.keywords > that might cause this? note: my system is manly kde /etc/portage/package.use/temporal was to be able to compile avahi and libgsf grep -r gtk /etc/portage/package* /etc/portage/package.keywords/gtk-gnutella:>=net-p2p/gtk-gnutella-0.96.6 /etc/portage/package.keywords/divers.keywords:>=app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-gtklibs-20100409 /etc/portage/package.keywords/divers.keywords:>=dev-util/gtk-doc-am-1.13 /etc/portage/package.use/temporal:net-dns/avahi -gtk /etc/portage/package.use/temporal:gnome-extra/libgsf -gtk /etc/portage/package.use/other.use:sys-devel/gcc -gtk /etc/portage/package.use/other.use:media-video/mplayer -gtk /etc/portage/package.use/auth:sys-auth/polkit -gtk grep -r glib /etc/portage/package* /etc/portage/package.keywords/amarok:#>=media-libs/taglib-extras-0.1 /etc/portage/package.keywords/amarok:>=media-libs/taglib-1.6 /etc/portage/package.keywords/divers.keywords:>=dev-libs/glib-2.24.1-r1 pango is stable [ebuild R ] x11-libs/pango-1.28.4 USE="X introspection -debug -doc -test" 0 kB before having this problem I run into Bug 386493 (avahi and use =gtk) Bug 386493 in this bug (Bug 386493 )it is suggested to upgrade to pango-1.29 I'll try this > > Then, have you tried unmasking also libgsf-1.14.21? libgsf-1.14.21 doesn't compile either

Probably fixed with bug #385699? I cannot reproduce at all. Did you updated to libpng-1.5 properly? (as told in news item, re-emerging gdk-pixbuf and cairo also) (In reply to comment #6) > /usr/include/gdk-pixbuf-2.0/gdk-pixbuf/gdk-pixbuf-core.h:260:16: error: > expected ‘=’, ‘,’, ‘;’, ‘asm’ or ‘__attribute__’ before ‘gchar’ > make[2]: *** [main.o] Error 1 I believe this issue has been fixed in gdk-pixbuf-2.24. Please update your x11-libs/gdk-pixbuf. Please retry with a fully updated system |
