Add USE=static-libs. simplest solution, webalizer should depend on geoip[static-libs] @web-apps: I recommend the following: - change geoip dep in webalizer-2.01.10-r15 to geoip? ( dev-libs/geoip[static-libs] ) - open up a stabilisation request bug for webalizer-2.21.02, which just links fine against the dynamic lib (proper autoconf check) workarounds for users: - emerge geoip with USE=static-libs - add app-admin/webalizer-2.21.02 ** to your /etc/portage/package.keywords and emerge the latest version These are off the tree.
