Did you add it to the appropriate file in /etc/modules.autoload.d/? No, but I didn't that before, and I runned very well two weeks ago or so. Perhaps old hotplug did this for me or something and an updated version don't do that? The official way to autoload modules in Gentoo is to add the module name to /etc/modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.x If it did work for you by some weird misalignment of planets, it was only a fluke. |
