tovid ebuild
Latest stable ffmpeg 0.7.6 contains a bug which makes tovid fail. For more details see http://groups.google.com/group/tovid-users/browse_thread/thread/b7b5810dd3f1f9fc?pli=1 Two solve this issue two options are available: 1. patch the current tovid 0.31 version as explained in the link above. 2. upgrade to the latest tovid version (tested and it works). The upgrade is not straight-forward since the authors upstream have moved away from autoconf tools. Instead they use a python script. I have attached a very rough ebuild which is able to install the latest version of tovid 0.34. Since I have LIMITED knowledge of ebuilds, a more experience gentoo dveloper can provide a proper ebuild.
