When using the "doc" useflag I get lots of errors like these ones:
openjade:/etc/sgml/sgml-docbook-4.4.cat:1:8:E: cannot open "/usr/share/sgml/docbook/sgml-dtd-4.4/catalog" (No such file or directory)
openjade:/etc/sgml/sgml-lite.cat:1:8:E: cannot open "/usr/share/sgml/stylesheets/sgmltools/sgmltools.cat" (No such file or directory)
openjade:/etc/sgml/sgml-docbook-4.4.cat:1:8:E: cannot open "/usr/share/sgml/docbook/sgml-dtd-4.4/catalog" (No such file or directory)

same for dev-db/libdbi-0.8.3!

Please post emerge --info and attach a build log.

I think it's related to https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=238996 since I have problems with various other programs using doc useflag ...

Confirmed with version 0.9.0-r1. First error:
openjade:../dbd_mysql.sgml:1:55:W: cannot generate system identifier for public text "-//OASIS//DTD DocBook V4.1//EN"
