Bug 383013 – Online bank security apple refuses to work unless I create a '/etc/.java' folder

If I try to use the above netbank, the java applet just refuses to work with an generic error "Unable to install security module".

But, If I simple create a /etc/.java folder, it works flawless.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Enter on www.bb.com.br
2.Type any number on the top two fields
3.Click OK
Actual Results:  
The module give up with a generic message

Expected Results:  
It should just open the netbank
