Just installed gentoo. Had to manually add -qt4 flag on profile default/linux/amd64/10.0/desktop/gnome for not install qt packages while emerging gnome.

qt4 has been enabled in the desktop profile for years. gnome and qt4 are not mutually exclusive use flags.
