no reason to keep this, so once releng can do a test cycle, i'll leave it up to them to make the actual commit:

I've got some stages and ISOs built to test this change[1]. I'll be doing some tests with the stages later today. If anyone wants to test them as well, please let us know if you hit any issues related to this.

You will note that for winnt cpio is negated (removed from the system set), so just clean up the entry when it is removed from the main profile. Thanks.
