binc imap 1.2.5 has been released.  See bug #37680 for an explanation of 1.2.4's instability.  I don't have a testing environment available at the moment, but the announcement suggests nothing has changed but those fixes, so the ebuild from 1.2.4 should work without modification.

Please add to unstable and I will test shortly.
