since the upgrade to kde-4.7.0, I have no language bar after startup, when I check the settings, I can see that the option is selected.

if I deselect it and reselect it, I have the bar but it won't save in the next reboot, tried to delete .kde4/share/config/kxkbrc but it didn't helped.

Is this still a problem in 4.7.1 and 4.7.2?

problem persists if you use previous .kde config, when creating a new account (same as deleting .kde folder), it works again.

basically I don't have the issue anymore but I don't think it is solved.

Sigh. Cannot do much here... typical upgrade/config problem.
