Requesting version bump for app-emulation/bochs-2.4.6 as it was released on February 22nd, 2011.

Reproducible: Always




Just for notice: According to bochs' tracker id #3392760, 'pcidev' isn't supported on linux-3.x yet, so maybe disable it selectively until it get supported.

I just added a patch for Bochs 2.4.5, see Bug 381579. Linux 3.0 is technically just another 2.6.something. It would have been 2.6.40. I don't understand why Bochs would not support pcidev on linux-3.

BUT, please test 2.4.5 with the build patch for linux-3 if you have any issues. I guess, applying it on 2.4.6 as well wouldn't be a problem.

2.5.1 also, and it seems that bug 399645 was filed for that version.

I'll mark it as WONTFIX. (Last Changelog entry was on 15th September 2011.)

If anyone has another opinion about it, please let me know. :-)
