steps to reproduce (as root):

emerge -B xautolock
ROOT=/mnt/root emerge -k xautolock
chroot /mnt/root /usr/bin/xautolock

output:
xautolock: error while loading shared libraries: libXss.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

expected:
xautolock starts without error
