Might be this gcc bug: http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=45941 Can you add -save-temps to the commandline and attach the preprocessed source? Created attachment 282603 [details]

(In reply to comment #3) > Created attachment 282603 [details] > compressed preprocessed source Confirmed with mips64el-unknown-linux-gnu-4.5.2 and 4.5.3 from crossdev on an amd64 system. Notes: - only happens with -O2 -mabi=64 (any other -O level, including -O3, or -mabi=... won't trigger it) - does not happen with mips64-unknown-linux-gnu (tried 4.5.2, 4.5.3, and 4.6.1) - does not happen with 4.6.1 I'll update the suspected upstream bug report with this information. Hi, we discuss this problem on forums and it seems that problem is with -march. GCC will be compiled with -march=native but it fails with others as "unknown march type" Please read more information here: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-898044-start-25-postdays-0-postorder-asc-highlight-.html Thank you Do not CC arches on your own. (In reply to comment #6) > Do not CC arches on your own. And don't remove mips@ from CC. :| Upstream doesn't give a shit, apparently, and gcc-4.6 is now unmasked. |
