I see the same error on hardened ~amd64. And on x86 when having USE="apng". This will be a regression when 1.5 is going to stable. Blocking the 1.5 stabilization bug. (In reply to comment #3) > This will be a regression when 1.5 is going to stable. Blocking the 1.5 > stabilization bug. only triggered by USE=apng, where as the apps using the apng feature keep on working just fine. not really a blocker, but should be fixed regardless. i think idea is that libpng-1.4.8[apng] doesn't fail tests should be trivial to fix this failure + 11 Oct 2011; Samuli Suominen <ssuominen@gentoo.org> libpng-1.5.5.ebuild: + Don't execute symbols check with apng patch wrt #378111 by Diego Elio + Pettenò http://sources.gentoo.org/viewvc.cgi/gentoo-x86/media-libs/libpng/libpng-1.5.5.ebuild?r1=1.3&r2=1.4 to clarify. apng patch doesn't add the exported symbols to testsuite (file: scripts/symbols.def) or change the PNG_EXPORT_LAST_ORDINAL in png.h. don't think it's feasible to start fixing this in any other way from within ebuild. |
