libreoffice-rtl.odp

Since installing app-office/libreoffice-3.4.2.3 I have observed the following behaviour in Impress: When I enter or paste RTL text into a text box, it prevents activating the item with mouse click for further editing.
It remains still accessible with keyboard commands or the outline view.

The attached file demonstrates the issue. The text box cannot be edited by clicking on it with the mouse. libreoffice-3.3 and openoffice do not expose this problem.

I cannot see any problem with the file,
I am using the kde interface,
what are you using?
Comment 2 Chí-Thanh Christopher Nguyễn gentoo-dev 2011-08-16 19:41:24 UTC
I built libreoffice with the following flags:

[ebuild R ~] app-office/libreoffice-3.4.2.3 USE="branding cups dbus gtk java kde ldap nsplugin opengl python vba (-aqua) -binfilter -custom-cflags -debug -eds -gnome -graphite -gstreamer (-kdeenablefinal) -mysql -odk -offlinehelp -templates -test -webdav" LINGUAS="de -af -ar -as -ast -be -bg -bn -bo -br -brx -bs -ca -ca_XV -cs -cy -da -dgo -dz -el -en -en_GB -en_ZA -eo -es -et -eu -fa -fi -fr -ga -gl -gu -he -hi -hr -hu -id -is -it -ja -ka -kk -km -kn -ko -kok -ks -ku -lo -lt -lv -mai -mk -ml -mn -mni -mr -my -nb -ne -nl -nn -nr -nso -oc -or -pa_IN -pl -pt -pt_BR -ro -ru -rw -sat -sd -sh -sk -sl -sq -sr -ss -st -sv -sw_TZ -ta -te -tg -th -tn -tr -ts -ug -uk -uz -ve -vi -xh -zh_CN -zh_TW -zu" 0 kB

I tried libreoffice-bin and it is not affected.

Comment 4 Ben Sagal 2011-08-16 19:53:01 UTC
I would think the use flags which are connected could be the lingus_he or graphite
Comment 5 Chí-Thanh Christopher Nguyễn gentoo-dev 2012-02-03 14:37:16 UTC
Seems to have been fixed somteime between 3.4.2.3 and 3.4.5
Comment 6 Chí-Thanh Christopher Nguyễn gentoo-dev 2012-04-03 23:26:53 UTC
I was wrong in comment 5, the problem still exists here with 3.5.2.2.
Comment 7 Tomáš Chvátal (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2013-04-26 18:47:22 UTC
This seems to be working with 3.6.6 or 4.0.2.2. Please reopen if you still are able to reproduce or fill a new bug.
Comment 8 Chí-Thanh Christopher Nguyễn gentoo-dev 2013-06-11 15:40:22 UTC
Still exists with 3.6.2.2 here
Comment 9 Chí-Thanh Christopher Nguyễn gentoo-dev 2013-07-08 16:49:32 UTC
Ok, I tested it on two different computers and the problem seems to be gone with libreoffice-4.0.4.2 again.
