Reported as bug 348620 as well, so I dropped the dependency from version -008 and above, in the hopes that I could get arch teams (read: armin76 ;) to stabilize it quickly and drop the older ones from the tree (bug 375921). But since 348620 says the dependency is completely unnecessary, I'll just drop it from all the versions. $ lslibdeps $(qlist -eo cpufrequtils) * Running scanelf -BRF "%F-JeR-%n" /usr/include/cpufreq.h * Running scanelf -BRF "%F-JeR-%n" /usr/bin/cpufreq-set * Looking for libs needed by /usr/bin/cpufreq-set * Listing libs needed by /usr/bin/cpufreq-set sys-power/cpufrequtils-008-r1 (/usr/lib64/libcpufreq.so.0) * Running scanelf -BRF "%F-JeR-%n" /usr/bin/cpufreq-aperf * Looking for libs needed by /usr/bin/cpufreq-aperf * Listing libs needed by /usr/bin/cpufreq-aperf sys-power/cpufrequtils-008-r1 (/usr/lib64/libcpufreq.so.0) * Running scanelf -BRF "%F-JeR-%n" /usr/bin/cpufreq-info * Looking for libs needed by /usr/bin/cpufreq-info * Listing libs needed by /usr/bin/cpufreq-info sys-power/cpufrequtils-008-r1 (/usr/lib64/libcpufreq.so.0) * Running scanelf -BRF "%F-JeR-%n" /usr/lib64/libcpufreq.so.0.0.0 * Looking for libs needed by /usr/lib64/libcpufreq.so.0.0.0 * No non-system libraries found. * Running scanelf -BRF "%F-JeR-%n" /usr/share/doc/cpufrequtils-008-r1/README.bz2 * Running scanelf -BRF "%F-JeR-%n" /usr/share/doc/cpufrequtils-008-r1/AUTHORS.bz2 * Running scanelf -BRF "%F-JeR-%n" /usr/share/man/man1/cpufreq-set.1.bz2 * Running scanelf -BRF "%F-JeR-%n" /usr/share/man/man1/cpufreq-info.1.bz2 * Running scanelf -BRF "%F-JeR-%n" /usr/share/locale/pt/LC_MESSAGES/cpufrequtils.mo * Running scanelf -BRF "%F-JeR-%n" /usr/share/locale/fr/LC_MESSAGES/cpufrequtils.mo * Running scanelf -BRF "%F-JeR-%n" /usr/share/locale/it/LC_MESSAGES/cpufrequtils.mo * Running scanelf -BRF "%F-JeR-%n" /usr/share/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/cpufrequtils.mo * Running scanelf -BRF "%F-JeR-%n" /usr/share/locale/cs/LC_MESSAGES/cpufrequtils.mo * Running scanelf -BRF "%F-JeR-%n" /etc/conf.d/cpufrequtils * Running scanelf -BRF "%F-JeR-%n" /etc/init.d/cpufrequtils Doesn't seem to need the dep at all, but only the old ones still DEPEND on it: =sys-power/cpufrequtils-005-r1 =sys-power/cpufrequtils-007 They can go when bug #375921 is done. Er, OK. :) Why did bugzilla reopen it? (In reply to comment #3) > Er, OK. :) Mid-air collision! :) |
